Power Quality and Thermography Study

Power Quality is a set of electrical boundaries that allow a piece of equipment to function in its intended manner without significant loss of performance or life expectancy. It refers to the extent of deviation and distortion in pure supply waveform and the continuity in supply. The standards followed by VNT for a holistic Power Quality Analysis are IEEE Std.1159 and IEC 61000 – 4 – 30.

Thermography is a technique used in detecting and measuring variations in the heat emitted by various body areas and transforming them into visible signals that can be recorded photographically.

With VNT’s Thermography Tests, you can get insights into the functioning of the components, thereby ensuring safety, reducing risks and costs of delay – all in an effective manner.

VNT's Power Quality Analysis involves:

✔️ Visual inspection of the facility
✔️ Data monitoring of power parameters using a Power Analyzer at various locations
✔️ Collection and interpretation of data, and more.
✔️ It is a non-destructive testing method that enables the detection of:

⭕ Poor connections
⭕ Unbalanced loads
⭕ Deteriorated insulation
